The Marriott sushi bar is very 101 - newbies will love it because they wouldn't know the difference. If you're a seasoned sushi vet, you may be put off by the COLD temperature of the sushi. The fish doesn't melt in your mouth; rather, it thaws. The temp detracts from any semblance of real flavor. The rolls are decent, but they use too much rice. Another thing - if you get anything with avocado (e.g., CA rolls), beware: the avocado is hard, i.e., unripe.
The prices are what you'd expect from any hotel restaurant. Reasonable, but you can get much better at a proper venue. Still interested? Get a taste of it during lunch - you can get a plate of about 4 pcs of sushi, 1/2 a CA or spicy tuna roll, and cucumber salad, which, btw, is EXCELLENT. This will set you back an affordable $9.95.
