I only came in here because of the sign outside that said they had the "Best Burger in LA." I should've known better the moment I stepped into this ghetto dive bar. The single and ready to mingle men were staring at me and my fellow friend. We didn't know where to go or wait since neither the server nor bartender cued us.
Anyway, we ordered an individual veggie pizza (bland as hell, cheese was pathetic) and I got a good, ole fashioned hambuger...nix the "good."
The hamburger was lame. The "meat" patty was plain and looked grayish. The bun was the typical run of the mill, high fructose corn syrup laden white bread. The only good part about my plate were the fries, which were spiked with paprika and some other MSG flakes.
Prices are good (burgers start at around $6), service is not stellar, and the ambiance is kind of dark and creepy. I will never come back here again...even for the fries.
