Allow me to preface this review by saying that I am a HUGE Norm's fan. I choose it over Denny's ANY day. The food portions are huge, the price is right, and the nightly specials are incredible (who can argue with a $6.99 steak, eggs, and hotcakes breakfast??).
I have to be honest and admit that this Bellflower is absolutely the WORST Norm's I've frequented. The service is THE WORST EVER. They'll seat you and bring out the menus and waters within 5 minutes, but the actual meals will take at LEAST 45 minutes. I was just there last night and ordered a Denver omelet while my friend ordered a chicken sandwich. True to form, they didn't even MAKE our food until I asked for the status 45 minutes into our stay. By then I was just too starving to walk out with a huffy and puffy attitude.
This was not the first, second, or third time I've experienced such poor service here. I am a Norm's fan for life, but I will NEVER return to the the Lakewood Blvd/Bellflower location.
