Wasa Sushi - Lake Forest

I had Wasa for lunch today and was really upset. The waitress asked if my friend and I wanted miso soup. Well, duh! All sushi places give you the miso soup for free; why would I decline? Next, they gave us a tiny bowl of edamame to share (maybe 10 pods total?). I asked for some more, and they brought out a big bowl of the stuff. Oh great, I thought - they're actually going to charge us for what should be a complimentary appetizer.
So yeah - the actual sushi was good. We had the salmon, yellow tail, white fish, and a Philly roll. The salmon and yellow tail was unbelievable. White fish was mediocre (a bit on the rubbery side) and the roll had too much cream cheese, which was very hard and cold.
When the bill came out to $25 a pop, I was irritated. The flavorless hot bowl of water they tried to pass as "miso soup" was $2! The edamame was $4! Sheesh - if I had known that Wasa was trying to rob me blind, I would've taken my business elsewhere.
The one redeeming act of this twisted play was the complimentary sorbet with strawberry slices and a chocolate covered/almond studded pocky (cooky) stick.
Still, I want my $6 back!
