There's something about this place that makes me feel warm and fuzzy all over. It's the old coffee shop you grew up with and can always count on for decent homestyle cooking.

The menu is extensive and offers a wide array of soups, salads, sandwiches, and typical American meals (fried chicken, assorted steaks, liver, etc.).

Jack's is great for all meals at any time of day. They always have very afforable breakfast, lunch, and dinner specials.

My favorite breakfast items are the omelettes or standard Denny's type combos (eggs, bacon, toast, etc.). Their country fried steak is also yummy.

All dinner entrees come with either soup or salad, bread, and dessert and will cost you less than $10 a pop. If you get their coupons, you can have a nice meal for around $6.95!

Some tips:
1. Stay away from the soups - they are worse than the generic canned stuff you get at grocery stores. The ingredients are soggy and certainly don't taste fresh.
2. Ask for dressing on the side of your salad. Otherwise, they are notorious for drenching the iceberg lettuce in practically a pool of dressing.
3. Order the steaks to be prepared at Medium or higher. Do not order Medium rare or rare. Trust me - the last times I've done this, my steaks came back red and still moo'ing :-(
4. House coffee is surprisingly good and fresh. Fill'er up!
5. All the fried sides (particularly the zucchini) is delicious.
