EW. First off, I don't even want to waste my time reviewing a freakin' chain restaurant, much less a shiesty one. But, I would be doing a disservice to my fellow Yelpers by not advising how crappy this particular location is!
First off, the staff is SUPER FRIENDLY. Everywhere you go and look, the wait staff and host/hostesses are smiling and asking if everything is ok. Still, even with the warm and fuzzy love, the food just brings the leftover ghosts of Christmas' past to life.
The soup, salad, and breadsticks meal seemed like a safe way to go, until I realized that:
1. The soup base (I tried the watered down sausage soup that resembled pee-water and the e fagioli) was from a can. No doubt. Freshness is not a priority at this joint, folks.
2. The salad was mushy and flimsy. The lettuce reminded me of vegetables on which an elephant sat and farted. My dining companion described the lettuce as old produce that had been sitting on a truck for 4 days.
3. Breadsticks - this is supposed to be the pride and joy of Olive Garden. It isn't.
We also split an appetizer sampler comprising of mozzerella triangles, chicken strips, and fried ravioli. Dry, salty, and clearly heated versions of the frozen variety. Sad.
